Question Mark Necklace

It was the shape, of course, what else? When she received the invitation to the poetry reading, and understood the type of artists who would be presenting their work, she knew this was the necklace she would wear. What was more fitting for a gathering of poets than – a question mark? The necklace was, perhaps, her most unique piece of jewelry. The necklace is a trail of the question mark shape, the handmade lampwork glass bead from a local artist in WA DC and the Swarovski crystals tassel beneath the pendant. It has these exclusive features that are β€œone of a kind.” First – the question mark shape is unique; Second – the pendant is a handmade lampwork glass, crafted by a Washington, DC area artist; and Third – it has a handmade tassel created from various shapes and colors of Swarovski crystals culminating in Japanese teardrops and sterling silver. The pendent is mainly a dark blue color with accent spirals of lime green and sparkling gold. The oval bead is framed on both sides between sterling silver flower shaped bead caps. The dark blue, olive green and gold colors of the pendant are carried through the wire covered rope in bright, vibrant colors. The delicate beaded tassel also erupts in a fountain of various shapes and colors of Swarovski crystals culminating in silver color Japanese teardrops. All of this – together, is what makes this necklace so unique. That was what she wanted – to be sure that no one else had something close to what she was wearing. And, of course, she was right.
