Brown Ogalala Necklace

There was something about the night, something magical, something primal and powerful grounding her in the earth. Its romantic sense filled her heart; she wanted to share that feeling with the world. So, she wore the necklace she had seen in the gallery over the weekend. The centerpiece was a hand-carved image of two crescent moons facing each other. They communicated that primal energy – that earthly link. The moons seemed to come alive. The centerpiece is incorporated into an intricate Ogalala stitch webbed with sparkling Swarovski crystals in topaz and Indian red. And the clasp – a copper and sterling silver toggle – complements the necklace’s deep, rich tones. She stopped as she passed the mirror on the way to the door. She touched the moons, shivered with the sense of them, and walked out of the door. Length: 18”
